Ali Taufeek
Ali has always been passionate about helping others. Throughout his career, Ali has worked with over 50 charities on various campaigns, and levels.
He possesses a warm and inclusive nature, as highlighted through his Captaincy role at Preston’s Cricket Club, where he fostered team spirit through the McGrath Foundation’s Pink Stumps Day campaign. As a Director and General Manager of Spark Change, Ali utilises his expertise in the not-for-profit sector and leadership skills extensively.

Nazih ElMasri
Nazih is a life-long learner, who continually strives for improvement in supporting students to achieve learning and social outcomes. Alongside his 10 years of teaching under leadership roles such as Head Teacher Admin and R/Deputy Principal, Nazih has been devoted to participating in charity campaigns and events.
Attesting to his compassion for the youth community, Nazih has contributed significantly to school community engagement activities. He has also been involved in Preston Cricket Club’s Pink Stumps Day, as initiated by the McGrath Foundation. His ability to motivate and support students in the classroom translates perfectly to helping Spark Change reach those in need.

Daryl Narayan
Daryl has been involved in the Spark Change movement since its inception. He is a keen Director, who loves to volunteer his time at charity events. As an undergraduate student in Information and Communication Technology,
Daryl uses his knowledge and skills to help Spark Change stay up to date with the latest technology and ensure that available resources are used efficiently. At the core of his efforts, Daryl ensures that all technology used is current and secure to maintain the integrity of the charity.

Azeezah Mia
Azeezah is a teacher and advocate for equity in Education. Her core belief is that every person in the world deserves an equal right to education. Having grown up in South Africa, she has realised that the only way out of poverty can be found through education.
Azeezah has completed a Bachelor of Languages and Humanities, Master’s in Teaching and is currently completing a Master’s in Inclusive Education. As a director of Spark Change, Azeezah aims to use her experience and expertise in all activities and campaigns.

Marcus Spagnardi
Marcus joined Spark Change in 2020 to help lead the organisation’s fundraising and marketing activities. He brings two years of marketing experience, as well as a passion for helping others.
Marcus shows enthusiasm and empathy when devoting his time to the charity.
